Concrete Jungle

I am finally posting pictures from my New York trip. I go about once a year, but every single time I end up taking pictures of the same places because I fall in love with them all over again.

Outside of Tiffany’s…my favorite! It is magical inside and always makes me think of my favorite movie.

The Saks Fifth Avenue windows were beautiful. I wanted to take a picture of every single one. They had an amazing light show every five minutes on the top of the building and it was perfect.

IMG_6398I love this necklace that my boyfriend’s mom got me for Christmas. I think I’ve worn it every day since!

A little elevator selfie. Terrible quality, but why not?!

The American Girl store will always be my favorite. I am not mad that they rebranded all of their dolls and changed the graphics. I think the older version was better, but I had Samantha and she has always been my favorite.

Harry Winston, every girl’s dream. They always have the most beautiful holiday decorations.

IMG_6389The Plaza Hotel. I stayed there once and it was like a dream. It always makes me think of Eloise (and yes, they have a store for her inside.)

IMG_6394The Rockefeller tree…beautiful. I would have liked better pictures but every time I was there there were masses of people…masses!

Times Square view from the Renaissance Hotel…a must see!

Bryce and I’s dessert at the hotel…key lime pie. I feel so basic taking a dessert picture but why not when you’re in NYC?!

FullSizeRenderMy boyfriend Bryce and I sitting atop of Times Square. We had such a fun night!

Overall, I had such a fun trip! I shopped til I dropped…literally. My feet were hurting so badly I wanted to cry. I visit New York about once a year and I can’t wait for my next trip!

Also, every time I upload my pictures WordPress makes them blurry. Does anyone else have this experience with How can I fix this?

Sorry for this random post. I had to claim my blog on Bloglovin again because when I switched over to everything got lost. Whoops!

~Happy New Years~

Today is the last day of 2014…crazy! This year has seriously flown by. I hope this next year brings lots of peace, happiness, joy, and wonderful memories to you all.

This outfit I wore on Christmas Eve, but it is also a great New Year’s Eve outfit as well. The dress I bought at the end of summer at Nordstrom. This is the first time I’ve worn it and I absolutely love it. The snakeskin texture is so fun and I love these grey plaid print tights for an added texture. I love a good fur vest and if I could, I would wear mine every single day. It’s just so glamorous and fun! I love this Rebecca Minkoff bag too! I received it for Christmas and can’t stop wearing it!

Happy New Years and have a wonderful 2015.

I’m back! I feel like I haven’t posted in so long. The blog updating process took a little longer than expected but it’s finished and not too shabby. It’s finally done and I’m very happy about it!

Anyways, I just got back from New York! I had a big plan of taking a lot of blog pictures there but my plan failed. I have one picture of an outfit I wore, but that is it sadly. I will rewear the outfits eventually and post them. I had a great time and did lots of shopping! Zara is amazing and every time I go I buy the whole store I can’t wait to wear all my new pieces!

Now about what I’m wearing…this outfit I wore a couple weeks ago and I loved it. I find it hard to wear cropped sweaters but I had the idea of pairing this Free People ruffle tank underneath it! It makes a boring black sweater a little more exciting! I was excited because I got my hair cut that morning and it was styled perfectly. Since then I have tried to recreate those same curls and I have yet to accomplish it. Let’s just say, hair isn’t my expertise.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

P.S. Sorry the pictures are blurry…something happened when I uploaded them. Technology isn’t easy! Does anyone have any tips? Usually this doesn’t happy when I use my phone for pictures. Somehow, they just turned out so blurry. Frustrating!
