Yes, I am a fan of the Kardashians. I can’t help it! Their style is incredible and they are hilarious and entertaining. I’ve been to some of the Dash stores, but when my parents were in Miami for a wedding recently, I begged them to go to Dash. This tee is super soft and the burnout fabric makes it a little bit different than your average t-shirt. I love these green cargos too. They are casual and a neutral top goes perfectly with them. Of course, I’m wearing my gladiators sandals again because 1) They go with everything 2) They are super cute and 3) Summer is ending and I need to wear them as much as possible. I also love tying sweaters around my waist because it is casual and cute, and always there if you need it.

Thanks to my boyfriend Bryce for taking these pictures on his campus, which is very beautiful!

throwback Thursday

Here’s a throwback to my senior pictures two years. I haven’t had a chance to take new pictures so let’s pretend this is social media and call it “Throwback Thursday”. I love this outfit actually and two years later I still wear it. Black & White is my favorite combo and is always so classy. I love this Michael Kors leather jacket with the Michael Kors leather boots…lots of leather! The white collared tank adds a pop of “color”, it gives us something to look at other than the black. These Free People leggings are my one of my favorites. I love wearing longer sweaters with them in the winter because they are comfy and aren’t your standard leggings. They are meant to be worn as pants, and they do! Anyways, I will have new outfits soon, but until then…happy Throwback Thursday!

adding pops of color among neutrals

This outfit is for an early fall day…hence the sandals. Typically I would wear this with boots of flats, but the weather is not quite that cold. For chilly days I like wearing a cute tee with a sweater/light jacket. This sweater jacket is perfect because it’s thick and warm, but not heavy. The pants I love and they are from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale…such a great place. The magenta and crimson scarf adds some color and looks good with the stripes in the shirt. I’m all about layers this fall and winter!

–weekend look–

Last Friday, I had to attend an event in Michigan for my dad. Some people were wearing dresses ,but it was so cold so I choose a more business casual type outfit. **Please excuse the background, it’s very hard to find a nice place to take pictures there, so I chose a hallway…sorry!** However, I wear this look a lot and it’s comfortable, but very presentable. This jacket goes everywhere with me and can be dressed up or down depending on the event/day. The longer blouse underneath is nice and dressy, as well as the nicer leggings from Zara. Cheetah flats always complete a look and add a nice pop, as well as the red bag.

If you need to look more dressed up, but don’t feel like wearing dresses, tight clothes, etc..this is the perfect look for you.

the cold is coming

Fall is here, and it is cold. Today was a bit of a shock to me. Today’s outfit is on the neutrals/casual side. Sweater jackets are going to be essential this season. Pair it with jeans/cargos/colored jeans and you are set. I didn’t add many accessories today since I was almost late to class, but accessories are huge this fall. My next few posts will include more accessories, but for now, just the basics. Olive green pants are great all year round, and right now they are still on trend. I like pairing white, black, or grey with them. Throw on boots, flats, or casual tennis shoes and you are good to go.

Happy fall, stay warm, and stylish!

casual stripes and distressed denim

Today was all about being casual and comfy. This black and white striped tee is so versatile and can be worn with many different things. Yesterday I wore distressed denim jeans, and today, distressed jean shorts. White pants is also a great alternative for this shirt. The camo tennis shoes are different and add an edgy vibe. Somedays we just need to be comfortable and distressed denim shorts and a casual tee do the trick. If you ever feel like your outfit is a little plain, then add a statement necklace and some jewelry, and it works every time.

chambray and white~always a classic

I’ve worn these white pants a decent amount on Posh Prime, but I can’t get enough of them. I’m trying to wear them as much as I can before summer ends Today I paired them with a classic chambray tank top and a cute statement necklace. The shoes are a great neutral with some fun added by the rhinestones and the gold belt matches as well. The high pony makes the outfit seem classier because my hair isn’t in my face.

What do you like to wear with your white denim?

animal prints are easy

Weekend shopping trips bring about new outfits and new ideas. Animal prints are so easy, because it gives you a statement piece, but allows easy neutrals as well. These giraffe print shorts from C. Wonder are so simple, yet classy and cute. I got them on sale for $19 and love them! They are comfy, and can be worn with a simple top. I prefer white since the print is brown and white. White pops with the pattern and the white shoes brings it all together. I decided not to wear a necklace today because it is simply too much with the shorts.

As Coco Chanel said, “Before leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory.” SO…I kept it simple on jewelry today, because simple is always the best.

~Enjoy the rest of Summer weather before it’s too late~ Also! C.Wonder is having 50% off all sale items!

“no white after Labor Day”

What’s that rule? No white after Labor Day? I say whatever! It’s Labor Day and it’s not the last day I will be wearing my white pants. White pants will last through the rest of the warm weather and a little into the fall. Why? Because white is timeless, classy, and goes with a lot. You can wear boots in the fall with a light sweater and you’ll have a great outfit. Fashion rules aren’t always applicable to weather, so do what you want! I like the stripes with white, and I got the idea from Morgan on the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills. I think another cute option is a white and blue striped shirt or sweater as well. The Tory Burch wedges make it a little more dressy, but any sandals/flats can be worn as well.

~~Don’t always follow the rules, or you will miss out on some great outfits~~

Fact- Coco Chanel wore white all year long, so of course this is a great rule to break.

classy stripes

Happy Friday!

Heres a classy outfit, for a classy day. This dress is perfect for when you want to look very put together, at very little effort. J.Crew makes the best, posh, dresses and I love them all. This one is so comfy, and so chic at the same time. (Which is very important for my closet..) This dress can be worn to dinner, a Broadway show, cocktail party, wherever you want. I highly recommend finding a nice dress from J.Crew and it will take you many places. Add some cute accessories~statement necklace, metallic shoes, etc~and you’re golden.

Have a great weekend!
