~~always dress to impress~~
Coco Chanel said it best. If you don’t feel good about yourself, it can show in the way you dress. Always dress to please yourself first. Dress for you and nobody else. Dressing well always puts me in a good mood because If I look good, I feel good.
have a happy Sunday!

I like this picture a lot. It reminds me of Kate Spade, so I thought I would post a little Sunday reminder.

be yourself, that’s all that matters

~~this is one of my favorite quotes by one of my favorite old actresses..don’t worry about what other people are doing or what other people are wearing, just be yourself. wear what you want, and set your own style up and don’t copy others all the time…just use them for inspiration sometimes but make your style (and your life) all yours and nobody else’s

~~have a great week!

How to make things look pretty and organized

Organization is an easy way to make products look pretty and neat. The first few pictures are of a silver tray I bought from Hobby Lobby. These trays are essential to making things look organized, but pretty. You can put as many or as little objects as you want. I chose a candle, some perfume bottles, a couple bracelets, my favorite sunglasses and a couple little objects. Silver trays are useful for nightstands, dressers or vanities. I have mine on top of my vanity, and it adds character and style to it.

The next couple pictures are of a little black and silver tray from Target. I put my everyday jewelry on it so it is organized and easy to grab in a hurry. This is very easy to buy, and put a couple little things on depending on what you like to use everyday or display.

The next pictures are my makeup organizer. You can buy these anywhere…Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, or TJ Maxx. I store a lot of products here, and it may look like too many, but they are essential for everyday use. These are easy to buy, and make organization very easy!

What do you think? How do you organize all your products?

following Fashion Week

My dream one day is to be apart of New York Fashion Week. Until now, I can only keep up-to-date on all the shows and street style. Newyorkfashionweeklive.com and style.com are my go-to sources for this week. You can watch the runway shows, look at slideshows of the collections and follow the day by day guide. I also follow a lot of blogs on BlogLovin such as Fashionista, Who What Wear, WWD, and bloggers that are in attendance such as Glam and Glitter, Sincerely Jules, and so many more. I suggest all you fashionistas look at these websites and follow some bloggers to get the inside scoop.

My favorite shows so far include Kate Spade New York, Jason Wu, Joie, Rebecca Minkoff, BCBG Max Azria, and Zac Posen. I suggest you all look at the slideshows and live feeds and see for yourself!

What are your favorite shows so far?

for all shopping addicts

photo

A trip to the mall is either stressful or fantastic. Yesterday I experienced both feelings while shopping. I always stress about whether or not to buy things and almost always end up walking back into a store to buy it. The mall is one of my favorite places, full of clothes and shoes I want/need. I try to budget myself so I don’t blow everything I make but sometimes it’s hard.(We all know it is!) Luckily, lots of Labor Day sales are going on. C Wonder has 50% off all clearance items so of course you have to buy something! I purchased an outfit I will be posting this week. Nordstrom Rack has 25% off already marked down items, including some great designer denim. Nordstrom has new items that are 40% off as well. J.Crew, one of my favs, had 40% off clearance as well, so I bought a much needed basic from there. Free People also had 20% off their sale so naturally I had to buy a unique sweater I will be wearing in the Fall. Anyways, I encourage all you shopaholics to look at your favorite store websites, or actual stores, and be thrifty! Sale items are the best items.

This quote speaks to all of us who love to shop. I always think about everything I wanted and didn’t buy when at the mall, and it continues to “haunt” me. When in doubt, buy it online!

Have a great sale Sunday!

dressing for success

~~I haven’t posted in a while, and it’s making me crazy! I’ve been so busy with school starting that I haven’t been able to take pictures. So I will post an inspiration picture and a couple of tips.~~
~Recently I have noticed that some girls don’t try hard to dress well for class at all. I always try to look nice everyday. Dressing well makes me feel good about myself and it promotes a positive attitude. Dressing in a boring or frumpy outfit makes me have more of a negative attitude. My advice is when you are tired waking up for class, or work, always put on a cute outfit and you will instantly feel a little better.

~~The questions I was asked~~

*Since I was nominated twice, with 22 different questions, I am just going to pick 11 (some from both) so this post isn’t super long

1)What is your favorite decade for fashion?- I would have to say the 1920s. The Great Gatsby had some of the most amazing costumes, and I just love that era of time.

2)What are the last three books you’ve read? Would you recommend them?- They are all from the author Liane Moriarty- “Little Big Lies”, “What Alice Forgot”, “Three Wishes”- and yes I loved them all! I have read all six of her books and they are really fast reads, but keep you interested the entire time.

3)If you could have grown up in a different country where would it have been?- Hmm, I’ve never left the country, but I think I would have loved to grow up in France.

4) Favorite magazine?- I love Glamour and InStyle

5)When you have spare time how do you like to spend it?- I like to hang out with my family and friends, read books, watch television, and shop!

6)Who is the blogger that you most look up to?- I really like Peace Love Shea, because her pictures are so beautiful and her style is incredible.

7) What is your favorite clothing/shoe brand?- I love Nordstrom, Zara, Free People, J.Crew, and just little boutiques I find.

8)Your biggest dream when you were little?- To be famous, either a movie star or a singer. Now, my dream is to be in the fashion world whether it is in Public Relations or Event Planning. My big dream is to be on E! News.

9)What is your next step? (School, life, whatever)- I’m a sophomore in college so I just want to survive the year!

10) What is your biggest interest?- I really do like the fashion world.

11) Are you living in your dream city? If not what is it and why?- No, I am not living in my dream city. I don’t really like the Midwest and want to either live in California or New York someday.

1. Where does your blog name come from?- I have always liked the word “Posh” and it was once a nickname. I tried to think of another “P” word to go along and decided Prime was a good one.
2. What are you passionate outside of blogging? I am a student, so doing well in school is important to me. I also love hanging out with family, friends and my boyfriend, Bryce.

6. Name three dream places you want to visit someday. France, Italy, and Bora Bora
7. What has been your biggest accomplishment so far in the blogging world? Getting collaborations
8. 7. Where do you see your blog in 5 years? Hopefully making a lot of money and very popular
