What I wore: Casual Birthday Dinner

For my friends birthday dinner, sincerelymadison.com, three other friends and I went out to a nice dinner downtown. I didn’t want to dress up that much, since this is Indiana, and it was a Monday night, but I always try to look my best. I took advantage of the warm weather and wore a simple black maxi skirt, but I paired it with a tank with a lot of embellishments. I really like this tank top because it doesn’t require a lot of jewelry. I scored it at Urban a couple summers ago for $10! I love a good deal, especially there. A jean jacket is always necessary in case you get cold.

I am in love with these sandals. I saw them at a Zara a couple years ago but they didn’t have my size…sad I know. My dad was in DC, a couple months later on a field trip with my brother, and when he told me he was at the Wax Museum, I told him to take a left and walk one block to the Zara. I know where my Zara’s are, don’t you worry. Actually, if you tell me a location (to a city I’ve been to), I will tell you how far the mall is, and what stores are in it. I know malls and stores like I know my birthday. Anyways, long story short, I sent him a picture of the shoes, he showed the worker there, and there was one pair left, in my SIZE! It was destiny, and love all at the same time. Today, they are my go to, and always spice up my outfit, because who doesn’t love spikes and leopard print in one shoe?!
