ways to deal with stress

We all get stressed and sometimes things don’t go our way. I know how this can happen, most every day, and I’ve found some methods to make me feel better. Try them out, I promise they work!

1. Read some inspirational quotes on Pinterest- There is nothing that makes you feel better than Pinterest in general. It is a great way to forget about things and get inspiration in fashion, food, life, etc.

2. Go to the beach- If a beach isn’t near you, make a pina colada or other beachy drink. Look at pictures of a beach and imagine you are there. Take deep breaths and listen to wave sounds on an app. So soothing.

IMG_81953. Take a nap- Seriously, this makes all things better. You need some much needed rest and get to relax.

4. Call/text a friend- Friends always make you feel better. They make you laugh and you can tell them anything. I love talking to my friends every day about anything and all things!

5. Color- Adult coloring books are becoming more and more popular. They are so fun too!

IMG_95126. Put on some makeup- Try some new trends, freshen up, whatever you want. Wearing makeup and looking good makes me want to conquer anything! Now get to that to-do list!IMG_98397. Eat! Comfort food is the best. Any type of food will give you some energy and make anything seem possible. Being “hungry” does not accomplish much! 8. Hold a puppy- Playing with a dog can alleviate stress instantly!

9. Read a book- Reading puts me to sleep every night. I love reading on my Kindle. It’s nice to escape in another world. Especially a murder mystery!

10. Shop!- You didn’t think I would leave this one out would you? Shopping cures all…retail therapy!
