You can’t go wrong

This dress is so comfortable and under $30. Could it get any better?! Nope. You can’t go wrong with a simple dress and some Converse. Really, you could wear any shoe with this: espadrilles, sandals, wedges, etc. I chose Converse for a casual look. I added a denim vest for my third piece (because I can’t go without a third piece of course) and my Givenchy bag.

I also really like the back of this dress. I wore a swimsuit top as a bralette underneath and didn’t notice that the straps were visible until after. However, I think it worked. Swimsuit tops make great bralettes and work super well under clothing. Bralettes are my favorite and I just purchased this one today. Only $20, really comfortable and surprisingly supportive for a bustier gal. I highly recommend it.

My hair was supposed to be pin straight (it was, I swear) but Mother Nature struck again. Literally 3 seconds after the last picture was taken, there was a torrential downpour. 20 minutes after that, sunshine and no rain. May has some wacked out weather. I can’t wait for it to be sunny full-time so I can work on these pale legs of mine.

Have a great week!

Casual, casual

Okay, I hate taking pictures inside. HATE IT. However, Mother Nature wasn’t on my side this weekend, so the next couple posts will be indoor pictures. Sorry!

Anyways, I wore this outfit for a casual and low-key Saturday. I saw Pitch Perfect 2 which was really funny and I hung out with my mom and her friends. I like adults better than people my own age…is that odd?

I love this diamond Wildfox tee because of the baseball sleeves and cute diamond print. Who doesn’t love diamonds?! I paired it with some distressed denim and Converse because if you are going to go casual, go all out. I did add some bling though with this Rocksbox necklace. I am doing a full Rocksbox post Wednesday and will give you my code to use for your first month free!

PS: In honor of Rachel’s birthday, a group is giving away a $120 gift card to Target! Enter below!

Have a great week!

One lace crop top, two ways

I’m not usually a crop top kinda girl, but when I saw this one in Pitaya I knew it was perfect! I decided to style it two different ways: sporty and girly.

The first look is the white lace crop top with a blush wrap maxi skirt. I paired it with my favorite Free People halter bra and some tall gladiators. I’m not gonna lie…I would probably wear some gold wedges with this skirt but I lost mine for the time being and decided to make the look a little more edgy with the sandals. Any type of sandal would work too. You could do some cute flip flops, any wedge, or even Converse would be fun as well!

The second look is the top with stretchy black shorts. These are beyond comfortable and can go with so many things in the Summer! I paired this look with my Converse and a monogram baseball cap. This outfit can go anywhere!

P.S. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! I had an amazing weekend in Indianapolis with my family and closest friends. Shopping, eating and hanging with the people you love most is the best way to spend your birthday!

I have worn this midi skirt previously in the Winter, but decided to style it for Spring. I was looking through my closet for a shirt to wear with this and found four possible options. I decided to just wear them all! I will show two looks today and two on Wednesday.

The first look is a boxy cropped grey sweater from Loft. I got this for $10 on sale! I layered a long necklace with it as well.

The second look is actually a workout top. I don’t workout in this shirt because it is so cropped but it looks good with the skirt, both tucked and untucked.

P.S. These shoes were not supposed to be in the pictures…I brought the wrong shoes to my photoshoot (whoops). I would recommend some wedges, wedge booties, or some casual Converse with this skirt.
