Dress//Lucky Brand; Hat//Nordstrom; Belt//Lucky Brand; Shoes//Steve Madden

I was drawn to this dress the moment I saw it. My dad & I went shopping in Palm Beach for a little bit and walked into Lucky. He had never previously heard of the store but saw something he liked so we walked in. An hour later we come out with 5 bags…*Note: This is a rare occasion* He found a store he really likes and so I did some shopping too…hey, he offered. Anyways, they had a couple maxi dresses but this one was perfect. I love the short sleeves and the colors. It screams boho and is pretty different from other pieces in my closet.

I bought this belt to go with it since it seemed a little baggy on me. I love the brown with the blues. I knew the minute I tried it on that my trusty floppy hat would be perfect as well. I decided against wearing gladiator sandals so I didn’t look like a cliche, so I chose my wedges. I might wear this with ankle booties in the Fall. This dress can easily make the transition with my closet.

I hope you all had a great week! I got back from Michigan on Wednesday and had the best time visiting my best friend since birth & seeing family I rarely get to see. This weekend is my mom’s birthday so I can’t wait to celebrate with friends & family. Have a great weekend!

Ombre, all day

Blazer//Nordstorm; Dress//Triple Thread ℅; Shoes//Steve Madden; Bag//Marc Jacobs

I love ombre and don’t have many pieces with it. I received this shirt from Triple Thread but decided to style it as a dress. (I do have shorts underneath though in case of a windy day 🙂 I love this floral blazer and have been wearing it all Summer long. I thought the colors meshed well with the ombre. I wanted to edge up the florals so I decided to pair the look with black booties and a black purse. Simple, yet chic.

I hope you are having a great week!

A matching set & a major necklace

Matching set//Nordstrom (Top, Shorts) ; Clutch//Rebecca Minkoff; Shoes//Sam Edelman; Necklace//Happiness Boutique

I know I just posted a set the other day, but what can I say…I love them! This one I found at Nordstrom a month ago and am finally posting. I love the navy color and the detailing on it. The mock neck is also one of my favorite trends as well.

I decided to pair this look with my necklace from The Happiness Boutique which is major & amazing. All of their necklaces are to die for and at really great prices too. Also, how cute is this clutch I got from the #NSale. It says “Retail Therapy #Nordygirl” which is basically me in a clutch. I carry this thing in my purse and stuff it with lipstick, business cards & whatever else I can squeeze into it. I adore the color & size, and the words of course.

How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was low-key. I worked, workout out & hung out with some friends.

P.S. Go follow my amazing photographer Holly on Instagram & Facebook.

Dress//H&M (sold out, similar); Tank//Urban Outfitters; White shoes//Adidas; Wedge sandals//Sam Edelman; Bag//Rebecca Minkoff (black version)

First off, I apologize for the poor quality of these photos. They were taken on an iPhone, right after sunset, and by a 10 year old. I am not a fan of taking my blog pictures on my phone, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. Oh well!

Anyways, I got this dress from H&M for only $15. I love the colors but the asymmetrical aspect is a little difficult to style. I decided to play around with it by knotting a graphic tee and adding my Superstars. This is a super different look, but I like how it turned out. This would work well for daytime. I then decided to style it normally, and pair it with some jewel wedges and my favorite crossbody. I think my favorite look is the second, but the first is definitely different and a fun way to wear a dress like this!

Update on the #NSale. I bought a couple things and I’m so glad I did. They will arrive this week and I will share them soon! I added a few more picks to my favorites because I get on the site more than once a day…whoops! I hope you all have had some luck!

P.S. I am going to the Simply Stylist conference July 18th in Chicago. Are any of you attending?!

The sale I wait all year for #NSale

Nordstrom is my life. Well, my closet actually. The Anniversary sale is one of my favorites and sadly, I want it all. I’ve already ordered the Nikes I have been wanting for months and I’m not sure what my next purchase will be. I think the Wildfox sweatshirt and the plaid sweater…or the mock neck dress…or the mesh workout leggings…or the patchwork denim.

My bank account says no, but my heart says yes. I will let you all know what I get. Are you having any luck? I see so many great sale posts and I want to know what everyone is buying! It is hard to get excited about Fall clothes in July. Does anyone else feel this way?

A month long love affair

Bag//Bag Borrow or Steal ℅; Top//Nordstrom Rack; Denim//Topshop; Sandals//Forever 21; Denim jacket//J.Crew; Necklace//Francesca’s

Let’s talk about the elephant in the post. My new Givenchy bag. Isn’t it beautiful, amazing, wonderful, breathtaking, etc? Yes. Now, let me tell you how I got it. We’ve all seen the Sex & the City movie, don’t deny it. Carrie’s assistant constantly rented from Bag Borrow or Steal. They let you rent handbags for a month! You can pick from Chanel beauties, Louis Vuitton classics, or this amazing Celine one. Need I say more? NO!

I picked this Givenchy bag because it is a neutral, simple, and I love the style. It matches everything and I have been using it on repeat. (The envious stares are the best part.) I decided to pair it with a simple outfit. These new Topshop jeans are divine and I bought this  Free People split back sweater at a great price. The black espadrilles are only $20…yep. These I have been seeing all over Instagram but they are basically sold out online. I went to a local store and they had a ton of pairs! It was fate I think.

So, I hope this gives you some inspiration to go to Bag, Borrow or Steal. Go find your dream bag and make it yours at a normal budget cost!

It’s that time…the Nordstrom sale. I am obsessed with Nordstrom as you probably know. It’s an addiction, so help me God. Anyways, I know you have seen these collages everywhere and all are fun. I have tried to make mine as unique and different than others so I hope you like it! You can easily shop the links from the side as well using Shopstyle.

The gold Topshop sandals I wear all the time are only $30…I get so many compliments on them. You should consider getting a pair. (Sizes are in half sizes so size up.) I love these workout pants too. Zella pants fit well and are good quality for a great price! This long trench is not in season, but a perfect price for the Fall! I need these floral wedges in my closet ASAP. This color block Free People button down is unique and would look good paired with anything in the Summer. I missed this Kate Spade bikini in my swimwear post, but this is too cute to pass up.

Alright, alright I’m done. I can’t get enough of this sale though! Happy shopping!

All about that bling, bling

I know most of you have probably heard of Rocksbox by now, but if not, I will explain. Rocksbox is a site where you can basically rent jewelry. You make an account, take a style quiz, and a week later there are 3 wonderful pieces waiting for you at your door. I received this beautiful Perry Street Ariana Necklace, the Gorjana Elea Cuff and the Jenny Bird Flagstaff necklace. I have never heard of any of these brands previously, but really like these pieces. The statement necklace can take you anywhere and be paired with so many things. The cuff is simple, yet adds a nice touch and the arrow necklace is delicate, but adds some bling.

I decided to wear a simple layered outfit to make the jewelry stand out. I started with a long dress/shirt and put a blush sleeveless blazer over it. The leather jacket was the perfect addition to edge up the pretty pink and the distressed denim adds a casual feel. These gladiator sandals are one of my favorite pairs and oh, so comfortable.

I encourage you to go try Rocksbox! It is $19 a month, but using the code “poshprimeblogxoxo” you will get your first month FREE. Yes, free. Everyone’s favorite F word. Go try it now!

Casual, casual

Okay, I hate taking pictures inside. HATE IT. However, Mother Nature wasn’t on my side this weekend, so the next couple posts will be indoor pictures. Sorry!

Anyways, I wore this outfit for a casual and low-key Saturday. I saw Pitch Perfect 2 which was really funny and I hung out with my mom and her friends. I like adults better than people my own age…is that odd?

I love this diamond Wildfox tee because of the baseball sleeves and cute diamond print. Who doesn’t love diamonds?! I paired it with some distressed denim and Converse because if you are going to go casual, go all out. I did add some bling though with this Rocksbox necklace. I am doing a full Rocksbox post Wednesday and will give you my code to use for your first month free!

PS: In honor of Rachel’s birthday, a group is giving away a $120 gift card to Target! Enter below!
