this post has nothing to do with Black Friday

Happy Black Friday! I’ve already talked about sales and if you follow my Facebook, and Twitter you’ve seen some posts too. This post is all about my casual Friday outfit. dsc_0371 [Read more…]

cozy leather & fringe

I love thigh high socks for many reasons. They allow you to wear dresses/skirts in the cold weather without having to wear tights, and look super cute. They are also super comfy, and add a nice vibe.IMG_0033 [Read more…]

A matching set & a major necklace

Matching set//Nordstrom (Top, Shorts) ; Clutch//Rebecca Minkoff; Shoes//Sam Edelman; Necklace//Happiness Boutique

I know I just posted a set the other day, but what can I say…I love them! This one I found at Nordstrom a month ago and am finally posting. I love the navy color and the detailing on it. The mock neck is also one of my favorite trends as well.

I decided to pair this look with my necklace from The Happiness Boutique which is major & amazing. All of their necklaces are to die for and at really great prices too. Also, how cute is this clutch I got from the #NSale. It says “Retail Therapy #Nordygirl” which is basically me in a clutch. I carry this thing in my purse and stuff it with lipstick, business cards & whatever else I can squeeze into it. I adore the color & size, and the words of course.

How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was low-key. I worked, workout out & hung out with some friends.

P.S. Go follow my amazing photographer Holly on Instagram & Facebook.

First off, I apologize for the poor quality of these photos. They were taken on an iPhone, right after sunset, and by a 10 year old. I am not a fan of taking my blog pictures on my phone, but sometimes you don’t have a choice. Oh well!

Anyways, I got this dress from H&M for only $15. I love the colors but the asymmetrical aspect is a little difficult to style. I decided to play around with it by knotting a graphic tee and adding my Superstars. This is a super different look, but I like how it turned out. This would work well for daytime. I then decided to style it normally, and pair it with some jewel wedges and my favorite crossbody. I think my favorite look is the second, but the first is definitely different and a fun way to wear a dress like this!

Update on the #NSale. I bought a couple things and I’m so glad I did. They will arrive this week and I will share them soon! I added a few more picks to my favorites because I get on the site more than once a day…whoops! I hope you all have had some luck!

P.S. I am going to the Simply Stylist conference July 18th in Chicago. Are any of you attending?!

~~When I was in Palm Beach I walked into BCBG with my dad. They were having a great sale and he spoiled me just a tad. Their pieces are so pretty and have some beautiful colors. This top I’m wearing has a matching skirt that I will wear later on. I love the pretty blue in this maxi and the fabric is so soft which is a huge bonus.

I love my accessories too. Usually my favorite accessory is a statement necklace, but today I decided to forgo one. I thought the top had enough of a pattern and I didn’t want the look to be overwhelming. I decided to wear a mint clutch to add another shade of blue and my favorite cat eye Tory Burch sunglasses. Simple, yet a statement.~~

It’s that time…the Nordstrom sale. I am obsessed with Nordstrom as you probably know. It’s an addiction, so help me God. Anyways, I know you have seen these collages everywhere and all are fun. I have tried to make mine as unique and different than others so I hope you like it! You can easily shop the links from the side as well using Shopstyle.

The gold Topshop sandals I wear all the time are only $30…I get so many compliments on them. You should consider getting a pair. (Sizes are in half sizes so size up.) I love these workout pants too. Zella pants fit well and are good quality for a great price! This long trench is not in season, but a perfect price for the Fall! I need these floral wedges in my closet ASAP. This color block Free People button down is unique and would look good paired with anything in the Summer. I missed this Kate Spade bikini in my swimwear post, but this is too cute to pass up.

Alright, alright I’m done. I can’t get enough of this sale though! Happy shopping!
