I’ve never been a huge fan of the color orange, but saw this romper at Nordstrom and decided to try it on and loved it!
Some trends last forever, others don’t see the sun two years in a row. Why? Fashion changes, styles change, and the trendsetters declare their new favorites every season. I devour Who What Wear probably 10 times a day…okay, maybe 5. Yesterday, I read an article called The Swimsuit Styles That Are In and Out for Summer and it inspired me to write this post.
According to Who What Wear:
One-pieces Drastic cutouts
High-waisted bottoms Bulky hardware
I personally love these all. I have been buying so many fun suits this season!
Here are more pictures of me modeling #4. (Yes, this isn’t an outfit post.) I am aware that the article says that cutouts are “out”, however I declare that this suit counts as a one-piece and a simple silhouette. I like these cutouts and don’t think that they are too drastic. They cover you up but show the right amount of skin to look good. I highly recommend this suit. It is amazing!
Full disclosure: The lighting both outside and from the camera is deceiving. I am actually a lot tanner than this…stupid light.
I have worn this midi skirt previously in the Winter, but decided to style it for Spring. I was looking through my closet for a shirt to wear with this and found four possible options. I decided to just wear them all! I will show two looks today and two on Wednesday.
The first look is a boxy cropped grey sweater from Loft. I got this for $10 on sale! I layered a long necklace with it as well.
The second look is actually a workout top. I don’t workout in this shirt because it is so cropped but it looks good with the skirt, both tucked and untucked.
P.S. These shoes were not supposed to be in the pictures…I brought the wrong shoes to my photoshoot (whoops). I would recommend some wedges, wedge booties, or some casual Converse with this skirt.
